Festival 2025

What is Festival 2025?

Festival 2025 is our county camp, taking place from 24-29 July 2025 near Edinburgh.

More than 550 Guides, Rangers and Young Leaders will be given the chance to try activities from abseiling to zip line, bungee trampolining to water slides.

How do I sign up?

If you are from a unit based in Edinburgh, ask your leader for more information about the booking details. If you’re from outwith Edinburgh or you want to attend but your unit is not going, please email ggecountycamp25@gmail.com for more information.

Is there anything else I need to know?

All camp participants, leaders, service team and camp staff will receive a camp hoodie and T shirt – details of colour and design to be revealed later!
In addition, Image Printers have set up an online camp merchandise shop where you can buy T shirts, polo shirts, hoodies, fleeces, trousers, headwear and accessories with the Festival 2025 logo.
These must be ordered and paid for online and will be delivered to your home address. The items are all optional. They will be made to order and will NOT be available to buy at camp.
You can access the online store via this link: girlguidingedinburgh.imagescotland.com

Bookings for our county camp in July close on Saturday 3 May. After this date, no further participants will be added. Camp-goers can expect entertainment from a pipe band and some of the gang from the Edinburgh Gang Show. They’ll also be able to take part in a silent disco, a wide game, meet some alpacas (the same that were at last year’s FunFest), a traditional campfire and a ceilidh. There’s also a rumour that Taylor Swift might be making an appearance… in the form of a tribute act!

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to be part of this amazing event!

Please note:

  • We are still looking for Rangers and Young Leaders to be part of the service team and help with the camp’s operations. It’s a good opportunity for any who are doing their gold Duke of Edinburgh and/or Queen’s Guide. Please have any interested Rangers or YLs get in touch with us by email.
Girls take what they do in guiding with them as they grow up. Everything from working in a team, to taking the lead, to speaking out on issues they care about. It helps them develop the skills and confidence to become the young women they want to be. ’
