193B Edinburgh Brownies Help Save Lions!

193B City of Edinburgh Brownies raised a fantastic £415.65 for the Five Sister’s Lion appeal. The girls collected silver coins in Smartie tubes and participated in a sponsored silent meeting in April of this year. Both Brownies and Leaders amazingly managed a whole meeting in silence making lion themed crafts and playing games. The girls were brilliant and really rose to the challenge of no talking whatsoever – totally the opposite of our usual noisy meetings! We visited the Five Sisters Zoo in June this year to present our cheque and plan to return again soon to see the lions we helped bring to the Zoo.
